THIRTY-THREE YEARS OF PEOPLE REFUSING TO LET GO.
This genre didn't evolve out of a boardroom. It spread on floppies and dial-up, got taken apart by strangers, and was rebuilt so many times that it now runs on anything with a screen. Community is the foundation Doom and this project is built on.
Shipped as shareware. The first episode went out free — copied onto floppies, mirrored on FTP, passed around offices and campuses.
Source code released. Once the engine was public, enthusiasts fixed it, extended it, and ported it to everything.
Doom on Robinhood Chain. The full campaign runs in a browser tab, wired to a live scoring layer and a pool that pays out on a clock.
PLAY. CLEAR THE LEVEL. THE BEST SCORES EARN.
No download, no wallet extension. Pick a name and the engine loads in the tab.
Start at the first map or continue where you left off. Harder skills spawn more enemies — more points.
Kills, items, secrets, exit. The game reports your stats the moment the level ends.
Your score posts live. The round pays on a clock and the top of the board splits the pool.
Fast finality. Low fees. Institutional-grade infrastructure. DoomHood lives on the chain designed for real financial activity — and still lets you frag demons.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PLAINLY.
You paste a Robinhood Chain address — that's your profile, your leaderboard identity, and where a payout would go. There's no wallet extension to connect, nothing is signed, and nothing is ever charged. You can also play without one; the run just isn't scored.
Yes. There is no entry fee, no key, no token gate and no paid unlock. The campaign is playable end to end at no cost.
Straight from what the game reports at the end of each level: ten points per enemy killed, five per item found, twenty-five per secret discovered, plus a hundred-point bonus for clearing the map. Your run total is the sum across every level you clear.
Where you finish on the board. Each round runs on a clock; when it closes, the top scores split that round's pool. Only your best single run of the round counts, so a long clean campaign beats grinding the first map.
You're missing an objective, not hitting a bug. Look for an unopened door, a switch you walked past, or a secret wall. Every map in the rotation has a verified exit.
No, and it doesn't claim to be. It runs on the community's open-source engine using freely licensed assets, with an original scoring and reward layer built on top.
